In honor of our friend and colleague, Alicia Hill, who we lost suddenly this past Friday, Dixon Academy of Harrisburg will be closed on Tuesday, August 15^th.  

Alicia was fully dedicated to the children in her classroom. She made an impact on so many young lives, she will continue to live within them. In the words of one of her four-year-old students “She was their bestest friend” and she will truly be missed.

Services for Alicia will be held at Carolina Funeral and Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212 , on Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Visitation is open from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The funeral will begin at 7:30pm. Click here for directions.
