Dixon Academy maintains a 5 star rating at two of our locations, our Northeast location is scheduled to open in 2004.   The stars are North Carolina's implementation of a system designed to identify centers that provide childcare according the highest criteria.  The five stars accredited to Dixon Academy certifies that Dixon Academy provides the highest quality and most comprehensive early childhood educational experiences that are, supported by enthusiastic educators, innovative programming and state-of-the-art-technology.  Certification comprises the three areas summarized below:

• Increasing the number of activity areas in classrooms

   

• Higher square footage per classroom

   

• Reducing staff child ratios

   

• Scores from an environment rating scale assessment
