Dixon Academy started from the dream of a young lady wanted to make a difference in young children's lives The dream to nurture and educate children from an early age was a natural fit, as Roslyn Dixon comes from a family of educators. The first center opened in Charlotte, NC in October 1995, and Dixon Academy has been in full bloom since. Our centers are filled with administrators, teachers and support staff who enjoy children. Our team believes that each child deserves the very best in life and we are here to support that. That’s why our motto is “Your child is our first priority”.
Dixon Academy’s vision is to provide the highest quality and most comprehensive developmentally appropriate early childhood education experiences for all children, supported by enthusiastic educators and innovative programming.
Dixon Academy facilities are 5 star programs licensed by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Dixon Academy uses a developmentally sound, age appropriate educational program for all children enrolled. Through activities and special events we stimulate creativity, curiosity and learning. And most of all remember that “PLAY” is a very important part of the pre-school curriculum and is of great benefit to children.
